Domain Name Registration and Management Terms

These terms supplement the Silurian General Service Terms for every domain registration, transfer, renewal or management order.

1. Silurian contract and registry route

The Customer contracts with Silurian for the service shown in the order. Silurian is the Customer's contractual and service contact and may use a domain registrar and the relevant registry to carry out the requested operation. That operational chain does not create a separate customer contract with those suppliers. For generic extensions, the sponsoring registrar can be identified through the official ICANN Registration Data Lookup Tool. The domain also remains subject to the applicable registry rules and ICANN policies.

2. Customer data, authority and cooperation

The Customer must provide complete, accurate and current holder, contact and supporting information, must be authorised to provide it, and must keep the holder email address accessible. The Customer must promptly answer reasonable verification, abuse, eligibility or contact-data requests from Silurian, the registrar or registry. Missing, inaccurate or unverifiable information can delay, reject, suspend or cancel an operation where the applicable registry process requires it.

3. Lawful name and use

The Customer is responsible for selecting and using the name lawfully, for checking relevant third-party rights, and for satisfying all applicable naming, eligibility, local-presence, acceptable-use and technical rules. A registration does not create trade-mark or other rights. The Customer must cooperate with a registry, court, authority or dispute procedure that lawfully concerns the domain.

4. No guaranteed registration

A search result, cart or payment does not reserve a name. Registration is complete only when confirmed by the registry. Premium status, eligibility checks, verification, reserved names, provider errors or a simultaneous third-party registration can prevent fulfilment.

5. Renewal, expiry and recovery

The order states the registration period and renewal setting. Registry cut-offs may precede the public expiry date. Renewal is effective only after registry confirmation. An expired domain may stop resolving, enter a grace or redemption period, incur additional recovery charges, or be deleted and become available to others. Silurian cannot guarantee recovery.

6. Transfers and configuration

Transfers require the correct authorisation, unlocked status and any registry-specific approval. DNS, DNSSEC, nameserver, contact or transfer changes may be asynchronous and are complete only when confirmed by the registrar or registry. The Customer is responsible for preserving working DNS and service configuration.

7. TLD-specific terms

Where an extension has special conditions, Silurian presents its applicable extension-specific terms once for every matching domain in the order. Those terms state the additional customer obligations drawn from the relevant registry and registrar operation. If a registry introduces a material mandatory condition before fulfilment, Silurian may pause the operation and request the instruction or acceptance required for that operation.

8. Personalised domain operations and withdrawal

The Customer chooses the exact domain name, extension and holder. Silurian considers the resulting allocation a personalised supply made to those specifications. Where this allocation qualifies as personalised goods under applicable law, withdrawal is excluded under Article 103(c) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

Separately, the Customer expressly requests processing of a registration or transfer before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledges the loss of withdrawal when that operation is fully completed. This service-performance ground follows Articles 98(8) and 103(a) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and Articles 8(8) and 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU. The checkout request is separate from acceptance of these terms.

A registration is completed when the registry confirms the requested allocation; a transfer is completed when the registry or registrar confirms the requested change of registrar. Payment, submission or a pending transfer alone is not completion. The immediate request authorises prompt processing after payment and required checks; it does not guarantee an instant result. Once the applicable exception takes effect, changing one's mind does not entitle the Customer to cancel the completed operation for a refund. Continuing DNS, support or management obligations are distinct from the completed registration or transfer.

These exceptions apply only as permitted by mandatory law. They do not remove remedies for an unfulfilled order, incorrect performance or a breach by Silurian. A purchase for business or professional purposes does not receive the statutory consumer withdrawal right.

Unless an applicable statutory exception takes effect, an eligible consumer may withdraw within 14 calendar days from conclusion of the distance domain-operation contract by sending a clear statement through Workspace support or Silurian's published contact channel before the period expires. The statutory model form is optional. Any refund required by law is made within 14 calendar days of receiving the notice through the original payment method, unless otherwise expressly agreed without cost to the consumer; any amount for work already performed is retained only where the prior information, express request and proportionate-charge rules permit it. A longer statutory period resulting from deficient information and all mandatory remedies remain protected. After the applicable period or lawful exception, a voluntary cancellation does not create a refund entitlement.

9. Applicable law

The legal references include Articles 97, 98.8, 102, 103 and 104-108 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and Articles 6, 8(8), 9-14 and 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended and implemented in the applicable national law. Spanish law governs subject to mandatory consumer protections, including those preserved by Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I). Nothing in these terms displaces mandatory rights applicable to customers outside Spain or outside the European Union.
