Why an available domain can still fail at checkout
An available domain shown in search is a great sign, but it isn't a reservation - someone else could register it in the meantime. That's why Silurian checks availability and current price again immediately before your order is actually created, so you're never charged for a domain that's no longer available.
Why some extensions have extra requirements
Every domain extension (.com, .es, .eu and so on) sets its own rules: who is eligible to register it, what contact details are required, how long you can register it for, and how transfers work. Some restricted extensions are still shown in search so you can see their requirements, even though ordering them requires an extra review step before it can complete.
Registration periods and optional add-ons
The minimum period for a first registration can be different from the renewal period, so check both before you commit. Some registrants need a local-presence or trustee service to register an extension they wouldn't otherwise be eligible for - where relevant, this is offered and priced as a separate line item, not bundled invisibly into the domain price.
Premium domain names
Individually premium-priced names (short, common-word or high-value domains) aren't available through instant self-service purchase - the standard extension price you see never overrides what is actually a premium-priced name.
Domain registration versus Cloudflare DNS
These are two separate, complementary products. Domain registration covers renewal, your contact details as registrant, transfers, and which nameservers your domain delegates to. Cloudflare, once you point your domain at it, separately handles authoritative DNS, proxying your traffic, TLS certificates, security and performance. You can register your domain with Silurian and manage its DNS through Cloudflare, and each product's responsibilities stay clearly separate.
